I was super excited and nervous to do this cake smash session. It was my second time attempting one with a seamless paper backdrop (during my first attempt the poor little guy was just not having it). I wanted it to be PERFECT and was worried (okay, I was a WRECK) thinking this attempt would go similarly to the last one.
My worries were unnecessary - I mean, just look at this adorable little princess! She had a great time!

I love the colour combination of gold and white against the grey backdrop. It's a great contrast and really pops!
The tutu and the bow were just so perfect. Then we went ahead and added in four strands of pearls for the actual cake smashing! Little girls with pearls is even sweeter than cake!
I love detail shots. Charlotte's mother did a beautiful job with the cake - a giant cupcake! And look at those baby toes!
Bath time is an essential part of any cake smash session, in my opinion. It gives parents a great opportunity to get their kids clean before stuffing them back into the car for the ride home, PLUS it makes for a great photo opportunity!
...Although I think Charlotte was a little suspicious of those bubbles.
